been thinking along those lines, the only thing negative I've seen on here about them is something about an "air pump" or somethingarother that fails. they are old enough that I may be able to find a couple to adopt, I try not to pay retail for anything but healthcare.

the big thing with them is to run the proper merc dfi oil, don't run regular 2 cycle oil in them, because of the air compressor. they did have issues, some had problems, some didn't and merc and since redesigned the compressor. i used to see them go bad more so on boats that did alot of trolling.

Have you looked into how much it costs to poker run with them it's not cheap. Pretty sure it's 350 a year then 750 a event thats 1000 before one gallon of fuel.

I've spent enough on my peterbilt this year to build 3 actions, think I'm getting close to a good long stretch of no spending and just income. guess there's a reason a new one is 150 k tad bit more than a new Miller. fun out

diesel stuff isn't cheap! we complain about how much our hi perf outboard parts cost, and it pales in comparison

    Cool

gotta save it for Tavares, if she quits it's going to be on an APBA race coarse. I'm running 1977 equipment, kinda like vintage car stuff. if I can put enough time in and "Jink sam" can help me maby I can have the Donzi ready for suwanaee, watch Joel Osteen every week, never rule anything out. fun out

The entry fee and fuel is least expensive part of the weekend. Travel, motel, food, drinks, and PARTS are where it adds up. I ran just about every "Poker Runs of America" run for a two year period in the late 90s. I made some great friends and memories but man did we piss a lot of money away in the process I mean a lot...

17' potato chip, this thing is light, but running against 15' Ally's with 150's it has to be, rough water will be my advantage.
