What's up fellow scream and flyer? I'm Running a 2002 mercury 125 one the great south bay Strong island, NY.I
f you know the area this time of the year we have to contend with a lot of eel grass.I've had my water temp guage fly up to pinned because eel grass has went through the lower unit pickup and water pump then on its exit of my motor it gets stuck in the little plastic nozzle at the end of the discharge hose.if you ask me the hole in that nozzle is way tooo small.or does the small hole in the plastic nozzle help cool the engine by adding some back pressure?I was going to remove the nozzle drill the hole in the lower engine cover and extend the hose to stop the clogging.is this advisable? or do you have any other seggestions.please reply here or by email to sosboatlifts@gmail.com Thanks by the way Hemlock cove was Crazy last week hope to post some pic/videos asap.
