Sportmaster mod?
Titus responded to me he was out of the gearcase business. Any one else making the sportmaster faster? I was interested in his mod where he recones the the case.

Everyone has their own opinions of course, but other than welding a good torque tab on the skeg and maybe trimming the leading edge I think putting a cone on top of a SportMaster is a waste of $$. I have had both and at least on a low 100 mph boat the only thing you need is the tab. And I would not want the one hole set up for a lake boat.

Titus did an excellent job on blueprinting the case! Did many for me.

I'm also a skeptic. Id have to see testing stock vs modded same boat same day same conditions. NOt saying it doesnt work I would just have to see some evidence. Ive seen it too many times with labbed props where they sure look pretty and fast but aren't any faster than stock.
