Switzercraft Shooting Star, 1500 XS, SSM

    Hi,
I have a 1969 Shooting Star, very, very good, condition, very original. has both SSM (rebuilt by Steckbauer before retirement) and original shifting low water lower.
I also collected lot's of XS specific parts...enough to build a second CORRECT XS. Been in heated dry storage for 7 years after original block cracked between ports due to inner water jacket failure.
For boat to go 80 plus again a power head needs assembly but, where I'm gonna let this go,
I was thinking someone would want it as is and build it "their way" ....or have "their guy" do it. So you get everything I have collected XS wise plus lots not pictured, the boat, motor, trailer. 3 blocks tall fresh machining by Jim Ruck himself (before he retired)
and two built rotating assemblies a low dome and a high dome both with standard dia merc pistons, excellent reed cages and bearings. Also vintage correct complete super Ride Guide System parts to do dual cable. (Boat run from day one with just the single) 978-808-6214 for complete list of parts and details. There is lot's of stuff can't post everything here. Got my eyes on another boat so one has to go before one is added.
I do not want to break this up, it should be run and never have to worry about parts. At this point, I'll just keep going on this if no one is interested. 3500.00 Randy

What an amazing survivor slice of history. Hell, the boat alone is easily worth it.
I was thinking, a 1250 BP would make it the perfect "period piece". But the XS is great too, and faster.
Hopefully it finds a good home to live out its golden years.
