Don't feel bad, I was banned from there for having a difference of Opinion on Gambler Boats with Al, I own a Gambler ( non fish version) just didn't think the build quality was great - boy Al was all over me for my comments, as I fought back, I ended up banned.

Spec, the odd thing was it was not political, nor brand name related. Rather an old technical post that had been resurrected. There was opinions all over the place and I posted a mathematical formula to allow those interested to figure buoyancy. Well there was four of five including Al that came unglued. Al called me an idiot and that opened the flood gates for the four or five to criticize and ridicule me for posting a mathematical formula. I wound up PM'ing Al. I had made a very sharp response to one of the moderators in private and thought all was OK. I stayed away for a week or so and came back and had been banned along with a smart remark from Al. But, I need to quit talking about it here before I get banned here.
Thanks 20vee, Hunt, Spec and others for the replies. I will try to behave here.
I know little about the boats that are the most popular here but, they dang sure look good.

After almost 4 years of being a member I was told that I would have to take a simple link to my website down......the fight was on!!!!
I promtply un-registered and also took the link to their website off of my site!
I never did like scratching other's backs when I don't get the same in return!!!

Well looks like I started a bashing thread. That was not my intent though it may be justified. I only wanted help in getting registered on Fastbass which so far has been unsuccessful. I should have PM'd 20vee that I was not welcome at the other site. For the record I support Al's right to run his site anyway he chooses. He makes the rules, and enforces them as he sees fit. Though I was given no reason I suspect it was a private exchange between me and commacheghost, a moderator on the Arkansas board. He kept pushing and taunting me untill I got fed up with it. It appears the thread has been removed but, all I did was post formulas so anyone could figure how much lift they would get from a single basketball in a jackplate. Several agreed that a single ball had little effect, little not none. That brought the crazies out of the woodwork with all kinds of claims. Al called me an idiot on the open forum. By PM I volunteered to simply leave the forum. Al said it was not necessary. I then had an exchange with Ghostcommanche by PM. I figured if I could be called an idiot in open forum then I should certainly be able to call ghost stupid in private. It appears I was wrong if that is the reason for being banned. My last PM with Al was me agreeing to step away for a few days. When I came back I was banned.
I hold no ill will at Al or any others, well maybe ghost a little <grin>.It is Al's house and he chose to throw me out. The reason he chose is not important. If Al gets too out of bounds with rules the market place will take care of it. From the number of members all seems to be fine. I made it 62 years with out BBC, I think I will be fine for the few I have left. Now if I can just figure out a way to join Fastbass.

What lake are you on ? It looks fantastic and I like Bullets. I always wanted a 20 dc but ended up wit a 21rdc after selling my 20 dc.

No fastbass for me and I'm not sure why.
