I have to say that it is getting really tough to find that kind of craftsmanship. A lot of the West Coast shops went away years ago. That is great work.

What is the back of that seat made of?

Thats my boat, still to this day it looks that good. In my opinion this how all materials/workmanship should last!

it is a material laid up in resin. The material can be colored carbon fibre to get the carbon look with color to match the interior, or just plain fiberglass.

in this beautiful Action Marine, the seat-back is similar but has fabric covering and exposing some of the hard laid fiberglass.

This Action has a nice combing pad to add comfort and to cover the exposed fiberglass
