you could make a set of offset heads if you have a mill and lathe, use the 2.7 chamber as a model and machine the 3.0 heads to fit them?

Here you have some pics of the reassembled, stuffed looper intake. Now it will lay soaked with fuel for a couple of days, just to make sure that the white filler stuff will stay intact. The can says that it can handle gasoline, but better safe than sorry...

From the inside, not much dead space left... The lower side of the reed blocks has got stuffers aswell, just didn't have a good picture.

Its not the same hose. The one connecting the lower and upper main is visible below the long hose in the picture. Only a short piece of hose that normally attaches to the oneway valve, is visible.

By stuffing the reed housing exactly what gain will you get ? I am curious to what this does.
will this alone give a noticeable effect on power at a certain point ? or all over power ?
and can this be done to most motors ?

That is a vent hose to top of new style air box. You need to make sure the vent from top bearing to intake valve is open or you will have upper main issues.

Hello guys! Its been a while since I posted on this board, this has been due to heavy work load However, last weekend I managed to get our boat into the lake and I must say, the stuffing described with pics in this thread made a huge seat of pants difference, biggest one since I added finger ports. Holy ****, boat takes off like a rocket! If you haven't done any stuffing, I would really recommend you to do this! Its cheap, safe and you will get a snappy motor!

    Best regards!
    Anders

Hi, I was refering to the stuffing I did which is shown on the pics in this thread!
No cutting involved on the intake I am currently using.

I wonder if the stuffing just put back what the finger ports and holes in the piston took out?
That would be an interesting calculation

Interesting! However I am quite sure that the stuffing added by far exceds the amount removed from the pistons and cyl walls...
