    Angry 3.0L V6 acting AGAIN....

Here is another session of overheating AGAIN.

As of last week, the engine started to come on TEMP alarm on idle so I removed the lower unit to find out that the rubber coupler between the pump and the water tube had a bubble within itself thus restricting the water flow.

I replaced the coupler with a brand new one and it went great for about 1 or 2 hours. Now, today, at about 3k cruising with the laddy, the *?%?%*?_ started to climb the stairs of temperature and it sounded the alarm once again so I back the throttle and killed the engine...

I lowered the engine to max, down trimmed the engine, restarted it and headed back home but it remained slightly above the middle point on both temp gauges.

Water pressure has ALWAYS been low ( 4 to 5 psi on idle and 7psi above 2k RPM ) I have a LWP land and Sea with dual water pipe, no obstructions because I've been through this all day last Saturday...Poppet valve is not stucked nor not working, thermostat were replaced AND checked with boiling point and Digital thermometer. They open at 145*.

Water pump has no scars, not cracked or anything else. It's new from last year. The engine is 35 Hrs on fresh rebuild and I do not want to walk to the engine shop again.

I will take the lower unit out tomorrow after a few runs to see if it overheat again.

I have dual gauges, one for each heads and port side has ALWAYS been slightly warmer that starboard.

Why is these 3.0L have such a low water pressure... If I recall properly, they use the same water pump as any other and the others have about 20 psi of water pressure...
