    Not sure, but at it's peak they were building about 1000 boats per year, probably in the mid 1980's.

    I think it would have made an excellent HP525 Bravo sterndrive boat. With a few minor design changes of course.

    I had a production conversation with Howard last year and I should have just let my voice note recorded on my iPhone roll because I've forgotten more than I remember about that day and I grilled him for the better part of 5-6 hrs about everything Hydrostream. Starting with the Panther...to the Ventura...to the Viper....to the mess with the production plant relocation fiasco to the ultimate demise of the brand. Hopefully I have another chance this year to spend some time with him and BS a bit.

    I have an interesting photo here - this is not a Photoshop edit, and it appears to be a pretty old photo. This Vulture has twin Mercury V6 engines on it. The question is, who owns this boat and what happened to it?
