I got it close with 12 pulse, also had to add the small voltage regulator to the rectifier to stop it from being erratic.
    Not dead on yet.

you may have to use a rectifier/ regulator to get a clean signal. http://www.ebay.com/itm/VOLTAGE-REGU...item3f2b7e7995

We have use an IQ3 in our F1 boat. You can fine tune rpm by adjusting averaging filtering. It is noted in the manual.

I cant remember, it is 5 or 6 years since we installed the dash. We have a race this weekend, I will try to remember to check what we have it set too. I do know that it used to read high until we adjusted the filtering.

    Much thanks.
The two settings I need is:
    -Pulses per revolution (12?)
    -Odd fire pulse (11?)

6P is what we set our too, it was reading a bit high against the 4 button. Adjusting the filtering fixed that.

    -Pulses per revolution (#?)
    -Odd fire pulse (#?)
