Event Ideas
So I was thinking the other night how the Rumble on the River used to bring everyone from all areas together because of its central location. My thought was the next event that was close to being somewhat central would be the Jasper ODBA race, so tossing around ideas, what would everyone think of turning that into more of an boating event with the drag racing on Saturday and Sunday? My thoughts being do some river riding on Thursday as well as the usual river run Friday to Chattanooga. On Thursday everyone could ride south of Nickajack on Lake Guntersville. Its a beautiful ride south and there is a place about 50 Miles south called Goose Pond that has fuel and also has a restaurant. Kicking around ideas because I feel like there aren't enough boating events anymore and also don't see enough of the northern chapter of boaters. Let me know what you think.

I was going to pull the skater down to do the river run.... and than crew the rest of the weekend for the Canadian boats!!! Don't see why I couldn't make it a day early!

Chummy i know it's a far drive but you should try to make it up to the three lakes shootout tour of the lakes on Friday and radar run Saturday the area in northern Wisconsin is amazing

I made that event back in 2006 and the run down to Chattanooga. Lots of places to stay and a nice campground. I would love to make that trip again!

Add an enduro race to the event if there is room and bring in other types of high performance boats. This should bring some numbers to your event.
