Why wouldn't Geico be the best company to insure boats? lol What insurance do they have on THEIR boat?

I just tried to do a quote online for a 21 liberator with a 300xs. It wouldn't give me the quote online said to call them.

The main reason I sold my Euro was because I could not get it insured for less than $2500 a year. I'm not paying 13% of the value each year for insurance. It seems like if the boat is over 24' and 100+ mph it becomes a little easier. Someone above said it too, but if you lie to them and have a claim they will deny your coverage so all those payments you made them were for nothing.

State Farm was a nightmare when one of my boats burned. My truck and boat burned together. Truck was with Progressive and paid out in less than a week. Boat with State Farm took MONTHS. Click image for larger version.

Most of the insurance companies that insure fast boats use Loyd's of London as there underwriters. I have use Premier Marine for 11 years and rated speed of 100mph. 650 per year in Canada. Now if you say 101 mph you might have a problem. My boat doesnt even go quite 100mph but its there for when it does one day already.

Not sure were there from but I know they use lloyds of London as there underwriter. When I bought my GS in South Carolina Brien told me to look for a company that uses {Lloyd's } as there underwriter. a quick google search should say in the USA what brokers use these guys i would think. They are world wide. Hears a link to premiere in the USA http://premiermarineusa.com/ part of west group. This is who i have used for 11 years they just send me a renewal for every year no questions ask. Boat motor trailer liability full coverage, replacement, loss of use ect ect 680 can.

    Good info! Thx.

They also provide you "stated value" in the policy? Do they bunch together the boat, motor and trailer for that as "one" agreed value or do they allow you to separate each of the three?

Yes and Yes hears some of whats on mine. Premiere Marine Management group/west Inc/ Lloyds is the actual underwriter as you can see.
