WTB: 135-175 Outboard
Looking to finally replace my inline 6. Not too picky on brand, just looking for something reliable and affordable. Not opposed to any projects either, but need them complete if they are.
Let me know what you have...

I was looking at your username and trying to put my finger on where I have seen it, then I read the comment about getting away from the inline. Followed your build on Youtube, hate to see you getting away from the inline. I just love those motors and can't part with mine even though I melted down number 3.
I have a pair of Merc 2.0 150s that I may be offing soon as I have a lead on a 200 EFI. Both are tore down, one is a chrome bore that has the factory pitting so I picked up a steel sleeve that has some scuffing that will need a sleeve or one oversized piston. Chrome bore ran when disassembled.
Also have extras like 200 bell tuner, new gaskets, new trim solenoids, and solid mounts to name a few.
PM if it is something you think you could make work and we can work out a price.
In Charlotte, NC.

I'm not 100% getting away from the inline. I have 2 1/2 of em. I just need a much lighter hull to make it perform. I've got a 1500 on a short shaft that would scream on a smaller hull. Just need something bigger and a bit more reliable.
Most definitely I'm interested. A 150 2.0 would be awesome. Incoming message.
Any yes, it's the same cturboaddict.1972 Sidewinder 18SS resto-http://www.sidewinder-boats.com/portal/windertalk/showthread.php?threadid=3544

I have a couple 1980's Merc V6' s , a 150 and 135. The 150 is almost complete...no lower unit and the clam shell cowl is banged up and the 3-ram trim slowly bleeds down. 135 is just a powerhead but still has the oil injection intact and I have a external tank for it. $1000 bucks buys them both! I also have some single ram mid parts, maybe enough to put one together? Sorry, but I won't ship any of it...way to lazy!!! LOL Im in central WI.

I do have a nice lower I just picked up from a member in CA, it's a 1:87, most 2L had 2:1 that would be another $400 I also have a complete 2.5L 175hp that's on a Stream I'm going to restore. It's real clean but I haven't had a chance to run it yet. $2200 for that.
