Indy "Go karts", compared F1 Real!
Why I like F1 racing over Indy rides! Simple motors!
ENGINE:
Type: 2.2-liter (134.25 cubic inches) V-6, turbocharged (single or twin), Max. bore diameter 95 millimeters
Weight: Minimum weight is 248 pounds.
RPM: 12,000 maximum (INDYCAR-supplied rev limiter)
Power: Estimated 550-700 horsepower depending on variable turbo boost used at track.
Fuel: E85 fuel (blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline)
Injector: Direct injection
Models: Honda HI13R Indy-V-6 , Chevy IndyCar V6,
Manufacturers: American Honda Motor Co., Inc., Chevrolet
OK, why I like F1 rides? "FOUR more cylinders, and TWICE the "rev limit"! Listen this monster!

Not the current F1 drive train...1.6 liter turbos with KERS electric harvesting systems.
This is what I wish they still sounded like:I CAN ALWAYS MAKE ANOTHER DOLLAR, BUT I CANNOT MAKE ANOTHER DAY

exactly what got me into F1 racing. was flipping thru the channels early one Sunday morning in about 1994 and stumbled across a spanish language station broadcasting an F1 race The exhaust note literally gave me chills and goosebumps. Sadly the new ones sound pretty lame

Agree^^ I saw them in Austin last November and while the aural experience was not there, the sheer performance was amazing. With that said, they had the cars from the earlier era running a support race that weekend and the ground literally shook when the pack would go by. The hair on my arms was standing up from the sound these machines were making. Gear head heaven.

Thats my point! EVERYTHING is getting "sanitized" now!
NHRA? (on later English Town) Too fast, cut the nitro, still to fast, shorting the strip. Liked it before, crazy and run what ya bring, even 4 engine TV Tommy!
Crashcar? (On now) Restricter plates? And "stock cars"? Really?
And its all over "rules". Enjoy it while ya can and bet 50 years from now be all electric rides..(uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh)
Indy cars? To much roundy round. Been Indy 500 and only for the overnight staging area partys, then 5am infield opens and the party continues on there. Guess they tossed a race too.
F1 (on now Canada) still so damn sophisticated it hurts! Blink and ya miss a pit stop! Race around the world on the best damn (left and rights!) tracks known! My brother raced vintage so been a few tracks with him and some that "old iron" is amazing!
Still like Moto GP, Nitro HD's, any boat racing (heck even caught yesterday rag boats (world cup), racing Lake Michigan today tube) and when they get on the "foils"? Damn scream ..well, kinda as no "Problem Child" thing!
Hamilton wins Canada! After a great start Vettle. Gotta love the F1's (as the F1 boats too!)Last edited by Robby321; 06-12-2016 at 02:40 PM.

One more think F1 vs Indy rides. It rains? SO WHAT, but the rain tires on!
And I have to think as if not leading? That tire spray ya gotta race into can NOT be easy! Damn, I've been freeway here in the drizzle and ya can't see chit in front in front ya! Now on Indy cars?
Poor kids can't race rain? Link...
