Checkmate Pulsare 2400 BR and Pulsare 2400 BRX from last Sunday.

We decided to splash the boats last sunday in hope of staying dry with the passing of tropical storm Colin. Overcast skys kept the boat traffic to a minimum for a sunday and once we got out of Jupiter heading north the ICW was empty. I was amazed to see no boats at the St. Lucie Sandbar but the best thing was getting prime dock space pulling up to Shrimpers to eat lunch! Never got a drop of rain and had a great time with friends and family!

How fast with the 400? That's our type of boat to do a comparison. Also how much faster than the 300? Wish it was a 300xs but the verado will do

My bowrider with the 300 Pro gps'd at 70mph with a Bravo One 24. Jame's BRX with the 400R has been north of 80. I believe his top speed so far has been 83 and change. Pretty respectable for a 24' long open bow V bottom!!

It is respectable. I was thinking bout one for a 24 super. W a X I heard as high as 79-80. So I'm thinkin 85 for the super. I bet there 85-87 in that boat. What prop is he spinning?

He's been tinkering with the Bravo One, Bravo One FS and a few B-Blades Blasters so far...

That Brx looks like one I sold to Palm Beach. It has the same shape Bimini top that my top maker custom builds for me. That boat ran 72.8 when I sold it with a 300xs.

So 10 mph faster w the 400 over 300xs on a boat that weights give or take 3500# rigged. I'd say that's worth looking into for anyone that has a bigger sob 23-24+. If that info is correct

I ran a best of 80.2 with my 2400 Checkmate and a 300xs. Mine was a long deck open bow and when I had the prop I ran 80 with on it ran 78-79 consistently.

Always loved checkmates, never seen a 400 on one though. Both look like some pretty bad ass family boats

Mine was a long deck bow rider. Lots of guys run 76-78 with a long deck, however I don't think anybody has reported 80 with one. But if wildman can't do it nobody can.
