15' Whaler with Surface Prop
After about two years, my buddy finally got a video of it running. We are novices, so excuse the flip flop turns.
Its not the fastest thing out there, but it sure is fun. I'm sure there are all kinds of things i did wrong with the setup, but what you see is a 28" cleaver, on a 4" atlas jack, bobs sport lower. Its got hull mods to keep it up and flat.
15 Whaler - 90HP Merc.
It's basically used as a river taxi, but occasionally we go out in the gulf and let her rip.
Let me know.

Its a 1987 Hull, with a 1995 Motor. Basically everything is new or restored. The hull was modified, with a pad. Attached above are some of the photos I have of it.
heres a walkaround video showing all the mods.

Wonder what kind of speed they got out of it. I have a 14' Rage with a Yamaha jet. It already has a pad from the factory (with an intake for the jet), but I could slap a bracket on that baby, pull that Yamaha, tweak the pad, hang a black motor on back, and have some REAL fun!

It goes high 50's, low 60's depending on the load. The idea of the rage project sounds fun, I've seen a 15 rage with a 115 on a bracket once. I'm sure it flew

I have a 15 that came out pretty nice but not to this level. Doug Wright built a pad on the bottom, Chaz built a custom 15 in. mid and coned the lower with a LWP then Randy "Wildman" rigged it all for us. It surprises a lot of bass boats when we run it to dinner we almost always find someone that thinks they want to play. I am putting a 24 ET on the limiter with a 2.07 at 5750 with the prop just below the pad and just got a 26 labbed ET to try sometime this week. I have an optimax on it and it really makes some torque for a small motor. It was built for my son but we both seem to get a charge out of it. Dave Rose is in the process of building one right now as well to play with on the St. Johns and intercostal. If we are going to start a whaler race division, I am game as I have a 17 Montauk that is getting a face lift and 200xs-It should hunt...

That's really awesome. Growing up, I wanted a 15' Whaler so badly. I still do. Those are, in my opinion, the coolest Whalers ever made.
