    2.4 Bridgeport rebuild baby steps

I'm the new victim of a 2.4 BP 1987model, I'm the first to pull head of the running unit. And my wishing of ringing faded away . I have raced every and anything with a sparkglug. Knowing there's no term for bullet proofing anything at floats, only a fat wallet. Question , is doing a full sleeve job the way to go on these. Wizard pistons? Or the merc forged. I'm not racing but I don't want the new 70k buying bass feins to bet me to the honey whole. I'm in a Allison xp-2002 @ 870lb. the BP is a Efi unit. will sleeve cause overheating

To add, the BP seems to live their lives in the 7000rpm world, is this do to the chrome bores? If sleeved, dose this effect the heat expansion on the piston clearances vs cast or forged?
