    Passage of time

Just thought I'd share what's going on with our beloved dog "Kody" in my avatar,
after 10 years of living his "WOT supercharged" lifestyle he started having problems with his back end, we had been doing chiro for years already, but it was getting worse, our vet suggested CT scan which showed 1 herniated disc and 2 bulging, so we had the worst one operated on in dec. and he was on the come back trail! Unfortunately, around March he took a turn for the worse, we don't know what happened, but the vet say's that he doesn't think he's a candidate for another surgery and he can no longer walk unassisted. We already had a "Help 'em up harness" but decided to try and give him some more freedom and get him a "wheelchair", anyway here's some pics of what were going through and an excuse why the Skater is still in pieces.
Here he is in his prime!

    After back surgery!

    his new wheels

Ya know Buzzin you and your family are exactly why my daughter is becomming a vet! Our pets deserve all the help they can get as they are the best
friends we will have and are always greatful (wish some humans would learn from them). May you and your pup have many more good times ahead. Gary

My Golden will be 12 next week. Hips going south. Year back stopped jumping the bed, then turning down "van rides" But dogs can tell you a problem. Mine started digging hole for the butt outside. Then noticed she could not jump anymore "greeting people's" in a cage and stop the road me as only a couple inches now, before was standing tall! Bark getting hoarse, but still won't shut up..(how a dog talks to you)?

So I bought a few bottles "Glucosamine" for dogs. Best reviews off Amazon.

At her weight (110) start with 4, then down to 3, then 1 or 2 if I see some improvement. Simple "gotta take care our "old babys" Pic just now, crashed and waiting for "dinner"!

So sorry for the loss Buzzin! I know Kody got the best care possible. Just lost our pet "Sanibel" and understand the "empty feeling". Hang in... Gary
