Help! 2.5l sport master rough in reverse
My lower unit is rough in reverse. It hits hard in idle and make the motor jump. Any ideas what this could be?

sounds like a bearing is tearing itself up

hits hard means what?? shifts into gear hard if so it is not the lower unit its the shift interrupter switch

What was replaced when it was rebuilt? Strange it's only bad in reverse.
