    Hello Scream and Fly

    Hello Scream and Fly:

I've been reading your posts for years, and have learned a lot from you guys.

I am a life long OMC outboard guy and have several (my biggest is a 98 200 Ocean pro)

I also dabble in Stern drives and own a 5.7 Volvo SX.

My weapon of choice are Hiliner 222'S, I've restored a 1974 Gypsy (sterndrive) and I'm finishing up a 1972 Adventurer (center console) that I converted to outboard (hence the 200 O-Pro)

I want to get your opinion on Boysen power reeds. I have a 25 Evinrude that I put them in and it really cleaned up the low idle/rough running problems it had.

I want to put them in the 200 O-Pro, but would like to know if anyone here has done that on an OMC Thunder block.

    Thanks

    Ricky

Hi Ricky and welcome to Scream And Fly!
I know Boysen reeds have a very good reputation, but another option would be to contact Chris Carson - http://www.chriscarsonmarine.com/
The CCMS reeds have a really spectacular reputation here as well.

When you can, post some photos of your boat. We love photos here!
