Do you have the cowl support brackets off the block/ air horn?

brackets ?? ill have to look that up the one off the horn i have i aint membering another one

The other one bolts to the top of the block with the pin that goes thru the top of the cowl.
I have a few for the 260 HP cowl but the alien cowl is taller. Not sure if the pin placement is the same.

Did your motor have the 1" extension behind the horn?

that before it got rigged up with a SVS still no spacer IMHO they do nothing on a EFI

This has a factory 1" spacer. I'll check to see if the same spacer is used just bolted thru pan 1" further forward.

HMMMMM i have Mernet on my computer it does not show a spacer available on any serial numbered 280 wonder if its off a 260

The spacers never came on the 280. They were an accessory item for 260's.
People did put them on 280's though.
