I'm pretty sure that was just a standard water pump kit we put in there so maybe your numbers are reversed? I'm thinking your exhaust plate takes the big tube and the pump the small tube? I'm not sure but I think the big tube is shorter than the small tube because the big pump is taller. I would just have those guys that put that together for you originally sort it out for you.

like I said in our conversation earlier, the tube is a little larger guide the tube to the water pump housing grommet to make the installation easier to install, check the to make sure the nose cone isn't plugged inside restricting the water to the pump.

OK, just backflushed everything, pulled the thermostats, installed new water pump guide from top, fired up, NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! No water to engine!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pulled side Bobs water tube, hooked hose directly to this, water comes out back of case where exhaust does. Fired up NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO WATER TO ENGINE!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for my little rant. What am I missing?

My 225 Pro Max does not spit water until you Rev it up till you get 10 psi press and it overcomes the poppet. Or until the t-stats start to open. NORMAL, do you have a water press gauge?

so if you take off lower and attach hose to tube going up ,remove t stats water should come out heads ,i would make sure all channels are clear might have to remove power head ,i have seen dried sand/mud turn hard like a plug and its stuck wont come out till you get it out ,also heads packed with sand gets solid .,if you were closer i,d say bring er over i will find it

ya, I have a pressure guage, but didn't look with hose on, running. What exactly does the poppet do?
