I had a 1986 Eagle Ski 20' and it ran about 80 with a stock Merc 200 and a 26 chopper. A little bit of work and a little more power did make them faster. I bought it new and it was a great boat that you just enjoyed driving every time out. We skied a lot with this boat and it worked very well. Most if not all of those 20' models were built for Seebold in Ontario by Sidewinder Boats. The boats sold in Canada had the Sidewinder name on the side.

This looks like one that I rigged new. It came from VA originally with a 200XP on it. Ran about 84.

My Warrior with mild 260 and a 24 Yamaha does 95 in 800'. Warrior is much lighter. I don't do top end with it but have seen 110 with a 30 pitch cleaver a few times. I was told the hull is designed for no more than 95. Great rough water boat!!

Both with 200XP Looper Evinrudes. They ran mid-80s. One showed up again years later with a 2.5EFI (not sure which, probably a 260) that ran mid-90s. I think Joe down in NC had the other one a few years ago. Great lake boats, good in rough water. They will never be the fastest, so you don't have to worry about it. Nicely built.
Yea, I had it for a few years & loved it. Mid 80's and I could take it into much bigger water than something like my Mirage. I wonder what happened to the molds?

I've been looking for another one....

I stripped the paint on my seebold this week and i cant be for sure but i think the paint was originally the same as the boat in your picture....... with many many many layers sense...!... still not sure on the colors I'm going to go with when I paint it I think I may just do white and adds whatever Stripes I decide on later

    Are you still looking?
I have an 85 Seebold Eagle Ski with a Suzuki 200AE, Hydraulic steering and jack plate, Hydromotive cone and 30" Chopper, and a bunch of extras.
I replaced the front seats with STV Euro seats, and the whole thing reupholstered.

    PM if interested.
