Help me identify my Mercury powerhead please!!
I recently bought a boat and the title I got with the outboard says it is a 76 Mercury serial number 430-1934 but the owner told me that the power head was a 91 Bridgeport is there any markings on the Block to tell exactly which powerhead I have or maybe one of you guys can tell me just from the picture any information at all would be greatly appreciated as of now I know nothing about this outboard
Thanks
Josh

look behind the timing arm on the back half of the block and look at the year to be sure , could be a bridgeport or an older oval port , its deffantly a 2.4 with land and sea dual plug heads
1991 i belive was the last year of the bridgeport. then mercury went to a 2.5SEEBOLD CHAMPBOAT MERCURY S3000
