260 cooling
Ok guys I put my 260 in the water for the first time it is not wanting to pee from the heads at a low idle it pees strong from the poppet dump at low idle ... once the Rpm is picked up both piss just fine like water hoses ... But at a slow idle is it gonna cause damage if it's not pissing from the heads ??

over heat buzzer workin'?.... pressure gauge?... bone stock early models will act that way... merc had a hard time with tha hole size in tha 260 adapters ta start with... like i said in another thread my first ones were that way..........

^X2^... If you have a good working temp gauge and hot horn and your temp is in a safe range I would not worry.

Yea it seems to be fine I just ordered new senders and temp gauge so I'll keep an eye on it
