My boat collection
Started out trading a John Deere lawnmower for this boat.
Very hard to find 1970 GW Invader 14' Boat
Has a 50hp Merc on it. But has a 100hp Merc SS Thunderbolt going on it. But I might put one of my spare Alfa Romeo 3.0 Aluminum Racing V6 Hemis in the space behind the seat. Would fit very nicely.
Then a few months later I saw this sitting on the road for sale on Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota. I saw the twin units hanging out back and just had to have a boat with twin engines. Boat number two. So now I own a 1980 Wellcraft Nova 250 XL with two Mercruiser 260hp engines, 520hp total. Even has a sleeper and a crapper. Its a 25 footer.
So in the mean time I was still looking for my ultimate boat. Didn't find it yet, but came across this hard to find beauty and just had to have it. So now I have three boats. This is the 1987 Stratos 200VT Rocket with an Evinrude 200XP engine.

One last Boat
Then last October comes around and I found my dream boat. Now I have four boats. Its a 1985 STV Pro Comp Sprint Bottom with the step in the side and a modified Merc 2.4 engine. Haven't even had this one out on the water yet. I bought it from Mark Tabara of Tabara Racing here in Minnesota. Some of you many know Mark. I think he is here on screamandfly. I am told its one fast boat. I can't wait to drive it.
Does anyone know how to read a serial # on one of these boats?

Dude you have more boats than you have posts. That's has never been done here on S+F. Tough job but someone has to do it.

Great collection man, I'm partial to the invader....I always wanted one as a kid, but my parents said I'd kill myself with it....glad to see they're still around

The wife is Filipino. If you know anything about these women you would know that they were all born with a compulsive disorder to have better stuff or one up the next Filipino. So in a sense I am very lucky she takes great pride in showing off to her siblings and friends, mostly on facebook. Because that means I get to buy whatever I want whenever I want. You should see the rest of the stuff I have. LOL

hell yea, I have only seen one of those in my life as a kid. Stratos boats were big on the lake I grew up on when it was still a fishing lake. Now it is a show off your HUGE house and county with their hand out for money lake. That is why we bought a lake place in TN because we could not afford the NC place and also because 75% of our lake in TN is Cherokee National Forest and cannot be developed..... yet.
