4.3 volvo penta water hose bursting

hi guys i have a 06 four winns with a 4.3l and so far ive blown 2 of the main water hoses in one summer i have taken the all the hose off and thermostat housing to find that there was know chunks of impeller or any type of blockage the boat isnt over heating but when your driving it the hose expanse and when the thermostat opens it losses pressure im stumped does anyone have a solution. o ya the boat has always been ran in fresh water so i dout the rises are clogged with rust

So I found out my issue some how a small rock had made its way through the cooling system and was stuck in the thermostat housing removed that and now it works great

should have remembered,had same simptons on cust boat 25 yrs ago in san diego-animals (shelled )work into cooling system and plugged housing.the more water is pumped by running engine the bigger the animals grow. remove hose and pour bleach into housing after boat gets used and animals will die..-th
