3.0 conversion help
We put a 3.0 on a fish boat that had a garbed 175 on now we go no spark moat cranks its fi. I had this prob before but I don't remember what it was. The old 8 pin harness is in boat. Anybody???

I'm sure the early ones did have an issue with where the kill pin was

what year is the engine? there is a purple wire on the electrical plate(01 and down), make sure it is getting 12v with key on. this turns on the ecu's. u can also disconnect the boat harness on this style and apply 12v to the purple wire, crank it, and it should run which takes the boat out of the equation
