Flatbed trailer as boat trailer?
Eventually I will need a nice trailer for under my little tunnel boat. Its on a galv trailer now that just looks cheap.
I was following an aluminum flatbed style trailer down the road today and thought with a couple bunks it could make a nice trailer. Because mine is a tunnel boat it doesnt need to sit down in the trailer. It would also give me a lot of space around the boat to put some storage for fuel jugs etc.
Something like this without a ramp. What do you think?

It would work great.
I met a racer from Texas last year in jasper that had done what your talking about with a larger car carrier. Complete with a large pit box.
looked awesome and very functional.

Chris I use a flatbed (snowmobile) trailer for my SLT. I use two pieces of cellular PVC boards for the sponsons to ride on. Works great! Gary

I've seen guys out West use modified flatbeds with excellent results. I think you could do a nice one using open C channel for the frame for full drain out.
