But that doesn't make sense Mr. Francioso. Unless Explorer is a Southern Server and Google & Firefox are products from North of the Mason Dixon Line.

    Hi Bud,

Internet Explorer has always been a slower browser than the others, however, it should not be that much slower.
What version of Windows and Internet Explorer are you using? Also, what is your system config? IE is very sensitive to things like RAM, most especially if you're using it with a lot of other applications running. This is basically what I all but stopped using IE years ago.

I'll spend some more time on Internet Explorer to see what the issue is. But, make sure you clear your cache and cookie data off Internet Explorer. See the announcement above. If Internet Explorer is holding on to old cookie and site cache data, this will certainly cause problems.

Greg I have 7 and the latest Explorer, there is one other site I go to that is super slow. After I did a Java update S&F was much better but still seems a bit slow compared to others.

Hi Dave - I will definitely check on Java. I know I don't have the Java app installed, so I'll definitely look into this.

    I appreciate it!

I disabled Java a long time ago and not even know why needed? I still get weekly damn saying updates it, and just cancel it. Maybe those running a biz it might be needed, but the the majority us? I've had no prob since disabled. Damn updates cause more trouble than fix. Forgot how done (FF), but think programs running, and click it off. Try it, as ya can always click it back to running.

Robby, Java is just a runtime environment that many websites use (including this one). It's built into most browsers for basic functionality, however you can get the full application, which is what you probably have. I suggest keeping it updated, though.

Maybe I should add that as its the old XP (never a prob) house puter that disabled. On 7 in the shop laptop now, and I don't get any updating here. Maybe automatic? Guess its this "puter" thing and I'm clueless? But I have no prob SF getting in any, XP, 7 lap, 10 pad, Amazon Fire pad.

But I think I know the problem others. Dave in Canada is slow because the net gotta go though customs him, and the southern boys? WHATS THE DAMN RUSH ANYWAY! HA!..(sorry as can't help it!)
