    28 Skater windshield project

    For those who are interested I purchased a windshied kit from Aero marine and installed it over the winter.It was not a easy install but I got it done ...see pics...

    Looks good - I might end up doing something like that. Going to try wind deflectors first tho. Post this on OSO too.

    Hi MDS
    I had the wind deflectors ,they don't work ,they blow down at 70 mph plus...

    AmericanRam, Did you silicone the plexiglass to the hull? It keeps the plex. from vibrating at speed!

    Mike, Yes both front panels and both sides. I taped off the glass and hull right at the butt line. Clear silicone and some "Bead Tamer" to get it to lay real flat and no bleed over. Really force the silicone all the way to get full depth of the plex. Remove the tape while still uncured. It will be much more rigid. David

    It would be interesting to talk to you about the install of the windshield to see if you had as many problems as I did..Lol
