Looks great Todd! I'll continue to post pictures of it as the rig job progresses. The guy that does a lot of work on my Skaters will be rigging this one with the 400R - he does a great job!

This boat was 1250 lbs before adding the dual tanks, because we built boxes for them to sit in, the weight of the tanks (40 lbs each) and all the glassing them in, extra support to the liner, we added about 150 lbs. This boat had a few extra layers of glass added to. Our goal weight for a standard build is 1150 lbs. The next one we are doing for Joe Partyka out of Michigan is getting some special features. He is looking for all the extra MPH he can get.

The white one you are building after Joe's (and maybe one other) is coming out and being rigged at the same shop. It's getting a 250XS hung on it. That one will be rigged light (Braille 23 # battery, small stereo and SeaStar Pro steering), with a 14" setback Atlas jackplate, and probably end up with some extra ponies thanks to DBR. I'll document that one with photos for you also.

No problem! It's great to see new boats being built again. My buddy building the white one really likes the idea of the 5 year warranty with the 250XS, as well as being $3k cheaper to purchase. I hear they get even better mileage than the 300XSs, and they're only 35hp down on the dyno. DBR should help cut that hp deficit in about half. I think I can still get 100mph out of it when it's all done and dialed in. Should be a cool setup - 5 year warranty and 7 mpg cruise at 70mph!
