    Berdes thanks for your feedback.
We enjoy taking each boat and splitting hairs to make it the best it can be.....

Very exciting week coming up. Next week Mercury's top techs Mike Griffith and Joe Himmelapach will be at our shop to test John Hansen's new Talon 22ss with a 400 along with Joe Partyka's Talon 22ss with a 300. We are looking for best all around handling, user friendly, acceleration and top speed. We will post pictures and results when we are finished. Joe Himmelapach was at our shop last week working with us on the new 400's. Thank you Joe Partyka for bringing your Talon down for us to do some R&D with.

Kim Franks new Talon is coming along nicely and we hope to have it finished up this week.

Mark's (the silver one) new Talon's deck, liner and hatch are done and the bottom has the core almost finished and it will be done soon. Lots of Talons heading out of here soon.

Here is a picture of Kim's boat. We will be clear coating it tomorrow and I will post some pictures after it is buffed.

Hopefully they are bringing their snowmobile suits, it's gonna be a bit cold at 100+ in these temps.

OTOH, that forced induction motor should really like these temps.

Great looking rig, I never realized how big the 400's were until I saw these pics, I makes the boat look smaller.

Thank you. A lot of people have knocked the 400R and have knocked it on the smaller boats. I can tell you first hand the 400R is awesome and carries this boat perfect. Everything is in the back, fuel, battery, power steering, everything and the boat carries so nice. There is no better motor for around the dock and acceleration. The 400 has awesome punch and we hit 105 many times with no effort, in a very short distance. The motor is new, so we went easy on it, but the boat has 115 in it easily.

Mercury brought me one badass CNC prop that will put it at the 115 mark. I was on the first run with it and it was pulling the whole way and I looked down and it was at 105 and still pulling hard with 30 psi of water. I wanted to keep going, but it was new and not mine. Thank you Merc Guys for the prop and Thank you John Hansen letting me make so many passes. Over 3 hours of testing props and learned a lot.

Short clip of one pass. Even running the motor easy up through the RPM's, it still pulled very nice.
