What with the second hole in the head that goes directly into the cooling passage? I assume the top one is for washers and t-stat covers, the one below has me puzzled as it seems to have bolt holes around it.

do not worry with that hole this is first gerenation heads not finally production we choose not to cut a good set of heads into for the show so we use first gerenation heads not finally production heads. That second hole not on the final production heads. The people attending he show has been explained this in demonstration.

What about fuel economy? Is It the Same as the conventional merc motors? Can This Be turned into a reliable 300hp green motor?

Fuel economy? You for real . This is big HP 2 Stroke suff, don't think "green " was ever in the process. Nice they make good HP green stuff but don't ever think this motor was made with anything other than keeping the good old high HP 2stroke alive.

    Great package with newer technology!
Glad someone stepped up and is making the HP light weight motor!.....

Whats all included in the package price? Larger center mains, are they omc size? Is David making the crankshaft? He was working on one with omc size mains last time by his shop. Do you have a version that will accept the standard merc crank and rods? Thanks for your time.
