    Only Mercury could figure out how to need 12 bolts and only have four around each cylinder. A real engineer can do that with eight. Or use 14 and get six per cylinder or 20 for eight. But I guess it made sense to someone in 1975.

    Capt- I resemble that remark....

    ford/navistar/International thought it was a great idea for the 6.0 till cyl pressure goes up.

    I think the CRT answer is gonna be some sort of ptfe o-ring with some fancy receiver groove in the sleeve/head but I couldnt get them to spill the beans while I was spilling beer on their parts at Jasper
