300 drag
Witch is the best Rod to run in a 300 drag. Small or fat?

I don't think I have ever seen a small rod be the primary failure mode leading to a blown motor. I will bet a 2.4 hi po rod would stand up in a stock Drag motor. Merc has alaways had tough connecting rods. If I was running nitrous I would want a 5250 based rod.....and lots of luck.
