Sport jet- ?? Merc V6 powerhead rated at 240 hp stock??

Poking around on Craigslist and saw this "sportjet" block which is a merc V6 rated at 240 hp- sure does look like a 2.5 lt block- 240 hp?? Anybody bolted one of these to a midsection? http://nashville.craigslist.org/bpo/5432117196.

Is that the only issue? I am sure that could be taken care of with a decent machinist. Seems like it would be a good way to get a lot of extra power- looks like a 2.5 o-ring head block.

That is the eng I am building up now. The crank has to be changed out. has the rod slot cuts and the 2 cut in the ex chest. the power rating is at the crank as it goes on a jet drive.
    Great eng to build from.

If ya can find a 25" lower, and someone that can cut the sport jet profile, just have a 25" cut to 20 or 15 and resplined .Just be sure to tell the guy ya sell it to what he's got!

I think that is basically a 225x power head with the jet crank.
