Teenagers........
I totally understand why some lions eat their own young after living with a 16 year old teenage step son.
That's all....

I have a 15YO who knows it all himself. Constant PITA but we are working with him trying the best we can. He thinks he is going to get a car when he turns 16. Yea right I bought my own car WORKING when I was 14 when I was a kid. He has a lot to learn. My wife grew up in NYC and did not have a car until she was in her 30's. He has no idea who he is dealing with and she calls the shots with our son. I could get him a boat, but as far as cars are concerned, he has to deal with her. At least I can chuckle under my breath about that.

Hang in there. I used to be where you are now but my son finally turned it around and he a productive member of society. 15 to 23 I wanted to kill him but I never gave up.

That is the most important statement in this thread. Don't give up. My stepson was beyond a pain in the ass but by the time he was 30 he had 2 beautiful kids, brick house on a few acres, and had become the lead man in very prestigious position. He passed away when he was 32 and I miss him every day. Now I look back at the crap he pulled and it doesn't seem all that important. Never give up.

... I have 3 daughters, 2 in there teens, 1, 12.
I stay awake at night hoping that boys ( like me) never enter into my daughters lives. My wife made this statement about my oldest daughters (18) boyfriend " But he's such a nice Boy"......
( I said do you KNOW what that NICE BOY wants to do to your daughter ) the same thing I wanted and DID to you ......God, Country, and Fast Boats

Girls are worse than boys in their teens. I think they strive on drama.

I have 2 girls. 14 and 16... the oldest just broke up with her first boyfriend. Couldnt be more pro9of her. They dont have tbat sas yet. Hope they dont get it. She dont want a car yet because she dont want the responsibility of having to pay for all the stuff that comes along with it. But raising her up with 4 wheelers, hunting, boating and shooting guns sure has the boys attention.

Sonicss33 and Rock have it right (so sorry about your loss, Rock--can't imagine it)--they are teenagers just like we were, they do grow up and all of a sudden they are great to have around.
Per Rock:
"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."
Per my hero Instigator:
"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."
