Yea all the information is scattered and Cryptic. Price was posted $15000 to $18000 depending. Now it seems that mercury internals are not compatible. So now one has to buy a rotating assembly that is compatible. But the web site isn't informative at all pertaining to costs etc.

That's the way I am reading everything. Its a exclusive package with the exception of Electronics and divider plate. Understanding I'm not bashing it. its a well thought out concept. BUT??? Why present something to the public both at a show, FB and boating forum(s) with out letting people know everything. You read the cost is $15k to $18 k. You go to the web site and see this 3D video of the complete engine less electronics. You go HUM!!! That's not bad for a complete mechanical package minus electronics. Then you find out there's no rotating assembly in that cost and no one is divulging the cost of a rotating assembly???

Right out one of the horses mouths in black and white.
"The reason why we decided to build our own cranks, we have made the center mains bigger ( more strength to the crank and that allows us to be able to go to around a 2.8 liter with the same block) and also the rod journals are bigger as well, basically, stronger. CRT will not be selling these parts, we are working to get dealers set up, then the parts and pricing will be available. Thanks again guys!"Bud Conner "Heathen" "Defending Our Constitution"

Well what I'm thinking is by the time you get a crank, rods, pistons, bearings etc. Going to be low to mid $20K. Then a guy will have to send your exhaust divider to Bud to get powder coated so it won't look out of place.

Don't get me wrong here. I think this is a great concept that has become a working product up to this point. There are several issues I see here And I will stand corrected if wrong.
First This has been the BIG buzz here lately all over here, FB etc!!! And It was stated by people within CRT that EVERYTHING would be revealed at the Miami boat Show!!!
(1) No one knows the final cost?? Even after being told it would be revealed at the show???
(2) No One knows who the dealers are or how much mark up there will be? Even CRT don't know who the dealers will be as they are still doing what ever??
(3) This Engine while a Great innovation has now taken Outboard Drag Boat racing into where NASCAR went many years ago. The average person cant afford it and can now no longer be competitive in classes that they once ran in.
Im just glad I have 4 Blocks that have never been welded on and two that only need renic. I guess after they are extinguished I'll be done with High performance Boating as I know it.Bud Conner "Heathen" "Defending Our Constitution"
