Live and Let Die
Just watched the movie, never gets old. Pretty cool boat chase for 1973.

My neighbors call my CVX 17 the "James Bond" boat on the dock (its not the correct model). I would say most people have seen the movie and agree with you that it has a neat chase! Gary

Seen that Movie many Times and agree it never gets Old. I actually rode in the Exact Boat that Roger Moore (His Stunt Double) did that jump scene in. It had external stringers attached to the bottom so it could properly ride on the constructed ramp for the jump. My Friends (Malcolm Hardin) father (Tom Hardin) owned Hardin marine. They were a Johnson and Glastron Dealer and the boat would travel to various Dealers throughout the United States to promote Johnson and Glastron. Roddy Walsh was a mechanic there and is who took myself and another good Friend of mine (Smokey Glover) AKA 99FX99 here on the board for those rides.
I had a Glastron GT140 at the time.

FOr the year, they had some good boat drivers in that movie. I still love it. Cool to hear some of the history behind it.

Not where Vnemous (Mikey) is concerned. He Loves Ketchup based BBQ sauce??? Go figure?? Must be a Jersey land thing?? Don't Know for sure as I know other sane jersey landers that prefer Dry Rub. Must be Mikeys Mixed genes Italian/Scotch/Irish with his Moms Roots being Southern and His fathers being Jersey Landish. He's sooooo confused.
