2004 merc 2.5- what is difference in PH on saltwater vs fresh motors
Just picked up a 2.5 merc 2004 with blue cowl and fresh water model number - no SW in model number. On the powerhead what differences in salt vs freshwater versions?

I don't think there is any difference in PH.

For a while merc put red stickers on the 20'' motors and blue on the 25'' and 30'' motors. That's the only difference.
