My Fountain has twice the top as your boat and a single 225 Opti. When I bought it she ran 47mph. Setup alone gained me 5mph.

This is a little more extreme of an idea and i would do as all mentioned above first for sure. But I would get a good running pic with your boat trimmed after your gains with setup. then I would look at the angle of your t-Top in relation to the wot angle of attach of your hull. If the forward edge of the top looks a little high i would be lowering the front or raising the back to get less resistance. i was reading a test were just adding a wake boat tower decreased top end as much as 10 mph!! Thats huge!! That was on wake type boats but same principals apply. Make act like a wing not a parachute.

I would like to see you right up at the limiter 6000. Video of the boat running would be great,is the motor flat on transom or do you have off set.where are the batteries.Boys don't forget that wellcraft is by far the heaviest of all boats mentioned so far.

I have also seen boats go slower without the top which was producing lift. Its rare but it happens.

Where is the cavitation plate when running at fast cruise. It should be skimming the top of the water or higher.

I definitely think the motor is low. If it doesn't snow again this weekend I'll trim down the motor and take some pics for a general idea .
