    We played with one of those a bit. It was weird chine walking in a tunnel but once it aired up it ran good.

    The old owners said its a very quick boat from a dead stop when racing. Hopefully she runs well with my setup

    Another way to do this is from the helm end. A piece 1/2" ID tubing will go over the threads of the hem end of a Ride-Guide cable and then you can push your favorite solvent and lube from the clean end out the back. Hose clamp it to the threads on the cable end and put an air fitting on the other end of the hose or attach a reservoir similar to above. Much less of a mess.

    A cleaning and re-grease of the rack and pinions and helm bushings while you have the cable out is also a good idea.
