1997 Legends STV modvp 280 Merc

1997 STV modvp with ski bottom built by Legends. Has second seat with cutout in the coffin hatch. All the normal gauges along with Sea Star pro steering. Boat fully rigged with an offshore mid comes in around 1400 so it's not a light weight. This boat was owned by Rock on here at one time and i think Eric Shaloom? I think as well. The boat supposedly has run 135 with a Goodman motor. With the current 280 it has/will run over 120 easily.
Trailer is 1997 dual axel with good tires.
2000 Merc 280 offshore. All stock except the box has the limiter moved to 9000 rpm. Motor has less than twenty hours on fresh rebuild with all new merc top pins and bearings. Block was sent to Ruck and had a renic at his recommendation. No welds. Sporty is off at the moment getting gone thru because found some water in the gear oil.
Boat, motor and trailer are all in good shape for their age. Probably can call all three an 8 or so.

Man that was a good old boat. Never seen 130 but got very close with a slightly massaged 260, 15", and an xr6 with tall gears. Boat appears twice in the Extreme Marine trailer shot at the Suwannie. Boat was splashed off the hull Mitchel Shankner campaigned by a gentleman on this site who's name I cannot remember but I do know he builds a very good boat.. There were only 2 of them built to my knowledge. Boat is very well constructed and by no means a lightweight. It will however out accelerate most boats and still walk away from them on top. Boat handled very well and showed no ugly tendencies. Good luck with your sale.

does anyone know what happened to the wife and husband team I think her name was cathy I think this is one of there boats. I put her first because she beat her husband quite a few times. we raced against them for two years and they disapearded baitman oops red wiggerly out
