    Me Too, some of these new big bay boats are fairly heavy and can probably handle the weight on the transom, although im not sure about the jack plate their using. I heard the 27 seevee with a 350 verado doesnt do much over 50. Dave

    I think the boat is big enough to make it a practical package. Should be a nice setup, sure is different. I wonder what kinda mileage it will get at cruise.

    The boat and the jackplate were built specifically for this motor. Its a BIG bay boat. The jackplate was built for this application by Bobs. Its a one off.

    Bobs extreme plates are designed for 300+hp but wobble around like a soggy transom. I'd keep an eye on that plate if I was them.

    I Bet a stock stainless marine gorilla jack would be fine
