1.87 gearset.40 hours off of a parted out 05 280. disassembled, inspected,new driveshaft bearings,seals and new "fatshaft" from Mercury installed,2 hours since then. never welded or any kind of repairs. excellent skeg with tab. can ship with small or large diameter water pump. has small on it now. $2700plus shipping.

Thats a nice piece....but outta sheer curiosity why did you put the fat shaft on and what happened to the small shaft as it is a low hr LU?

The 280 phead and mid was traded for a 300x for a talon 22 sgl. Engine setup,so just the lower was left. The fatty was put in to replace the cle on a 260 that was going onto a virage .the virage was sold to re gel and do some repairs on the talon,the 300x was sold and replaced with a 250xs while the talon was away. The talon is all back together with the 250xs,and i just decided to keep this 260 setup and not sell it,as the 260 block is back,and the rods/pistons are back from us1,and i have an ae 21 stashed that i was gonna'sell,but am keeping instead. So to update,no longer f/ sale,tks.

The old small shaft is still here,but will end up in another case,or in a cle,not selling those,for time being.
