I got the first race boat Nick built when he came to South Florida. He offered me his first V-bottom boat and like an idiot I turned him down and stayed with the flat bottom. Sorry to hear of Doc Magoon's passing.

I don't know when he moved to Miami--he was a fixture at Pelican Harbor Yacht Club in the early 60's--OPC--
