    Gene, so that pump & the truck are about the same age? Nothing wrong with the older Fords, Dave. I had a '68 swb stepside 4x4, 390 4 bbl 4 speed, 3.91(?) gears, bad azz little ride. Hard to beat stop light to stop light, if you used 4wd. Figured that out WAY before these late model diesel guys

    Old Blue and Kiekhaefer/Mercury go all the way back to 1968--over half a million miles--lots of history--lots of great memories

    That picture was taken at the salt water testing station at the end of siesta key around 1965! The guy driving is Milt Roper who ran the "boat house bulletin rigging shop. He was later fired for addressing Mr. Keykahafer by his first name Carl while working on race boats at lake X .

    Wow, I just spent a couple hours looking through all the pictures in this awesome thread, thanks Fujimo! People would probably be interested to know that Helen was Miss University of Florida in the early 50s, where she attended college and was a cheerleader.
