    About done, Stroker/400R

She's about ready to come out of the barn so I figured we could pull the wraps off it now. Yes the transom can hold it (got Chubs blessing) and no we aren't worried if it's gonna sink lol.

Lots of of time into this to plan a full build. Kurt reduced the setback versus a normal 300X/XS Stroker so that the leverage of the heavy engine isn't as much. Running lithiums and all the fishing stuff comes off so we can still go fast. This is the 2nd generation pad (like Tweety, technically she's Tweety v2.0) and has a some extra time spend on the pad to blueprint it. It is NOT a light weight boat, she's a full weight hull.

We we will see how fast it goes, could be an 85mph slug, a 100mph nothing special boat or a 110+ beast. Lots of untested things we will have to work through.

Jason at RPM Marine has left no wire or bolt unturned/touched. The work that he has done is absolutely spectacular. I have thrown some tough things his way to just "make it work" and he has done everything and more. His wiring skills and eye for the details to keep it clean is like nothing I've ever seen. Kurt has been so much help with the too, I had a steep learning curve and asked a lot of questions. Of course him selling us his own personal boat is pretty cool in itself.

Here are some teaser pics of the build coming together!!

Best of luck with her but....power to weight and top end, you shoulda just put a 300xs on. Less weight, A LOT cheaper , and of course the punch on top. I for 1 can't drink from the four stroke cool aid the damn govt crams down our throats.

Thank for the wishes Bodhi. We live in a wonderful country where we can all have opinions on how to build a boat the right way :-).

    Will do Eli, thanks.

Merry Christmas. We haven't seen much yet, 6 weeks late. Just loads of rain. But when we see one starting up down that way , it usually grabs a bunch of moisture and heads right for the great lakes.

Mike- Thanks man. It's been a labor of love and a testament to fortitude, like it is when building a custom house. There is some trick **** Jason and the RPM guys did that doesn't show in these pics. I wanted the boat to be a bass boat first and foremost but be able to then pull everything off for speed runs or have it tucked out of the wind so it's clean. He might be more OCD about cleanliness of wiring and install than me. I'll take you up on the beer. We hope to have it at Jasper this year.

Kurt is gonna have some preliminary numbers here soon for us. It's still in his hands so he can work on the balancing and propping before he turns over the keys to us.

Joneill - I appreciate the thought. Fact is since it is a fishing boat, if it 'only' goes 100 we will be happy. We are just hoping that with all the TQ this engine makes, it will do 100 with two and loaded to fish. The further past the trip mark the more icing on the cake is the way I see it. Probably will take several prop selections to find what works since it's such a different combo.

inam guessing a big diameter prop will be needed to overcome the big diameter of the 400r gearcase. I think hydomotive makes some 16" diameter props for the offshore guys
