I bet the power consumption in D.C. shot up with all the Dems and RINO's shredding docs and doing low level formatting of hard drives last night in preparation of Trump moving to town.

I switched between FOX and NBC last night what a difference in tone between the two. You would have thought Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid or Biden had died the way they sounded on NBC.

I was listening to a bit of Hillary concession speech and was shaking my head when I heard her call our country a Constitutional Democracy. She is so liberal she cannot even say the word Republic because it's too close to Republican. That or she is so ignorant that she doesn't know our country is a Constitutional Republic NOT a Constitutional Democracy.

I'm so glad Hillary didn't win but was also surprised she didn't win.

Who is paying this 20% tax ? My understanding is that it would be assessed to the US company that is importing the Mexican made product.
For example, Corona beer - 20% tax levied against Crown Imports LLC, the US importer. (and either choose to absorb that against their profit, or pass it on to the beer drinker)

If corona is 20% higher than bud, I would drink bud. Problem solved.....The point is it would make their products less competitive and they will sell less. But yes, if you still want corona, then you pay more IF they raise their prices to reflect it. I doubt they would or could.

But if Chevrolet (and others companies) has to pay that 20%, they would be more inclined to close the factories in Mexico and bring the jobs back to the U.S. thus costing Mexico more than 20%
